Social Services Coordinator
Immigrant Children & Youth (ICY) Program
Caroline is the Social Services Coordinator for the Immigrant Children & Youth program at GHIRP. Our Social Services program focuses on helping clients overcome obstacles and access resources to live a sustainable life over time. Employing a trauma-informed and holistic approach for all clients, GHIRP creates a comprehensive service plan to educate and bring awareness to clients and the community.
Caroline holds a Master’s Degree from Abilene Christian University in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in the Treatment of Trauma, and a BA from The University of Texas at El Paso in Multidisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Social Behavior, Youth Studies, and Wellness. Over the past 15 years, she has worked with at-risk children and their families, victims of crime and family violence, and survivors of human trafficking. Caroline continues to advocate for individuals and families who have experienced all aspects of trauma.
