Stephanie Sanchez

Stephanie Sanchez is a Paralegal with the Immigrant Children & Youth program at GHIRP. Before joining the team, Stephanie was an Accredited Representative at YMCA International Services where she worked on the Legal Orientation Program, giving know your rights presentations, and providing legal assistance to unrepresented detainees in the four Houston-area detention centers. She previously worked in private practice assisting on a broad range of immigration cases. In 2016, Stephanie began her immigration work at ProBAR in the Rio Grande Valley providing legal services and advocating for unaccompanied children.

Stephanie was born and raised in the border town of Brownsville, Texas. She studied at The University of Texas – RGV and obtained a double major in History and Government.
